I have posted no date for Edmond Babineau as I have none to offer. I am looking for Robichaud descendants of Aimee Robichaud b 1864 and Marie Exilda Babineau (nee Robichaud)is one of these descendants. I think that Exilda went to New Bedford Mass around 1906 or a bit later. her mother died around 1906 and her father remarried giving her a stepmother, Genevieve Maillet. Exilda had, as siblings, Emilienne b 1893 (m maybe Leger or Cormier), Joseph Emilien b 1895 (died in the 40s probably a drowning), Marie Louise b 1896 (m Felix Cormier), Exilda b 1898 (m Edmond Babineau), Henry b 1899 (m Blanche Vautaur), Mary Azelie 1901 (m a Stimpfle in Brooklyn?). These six children grew up in (most likely) New Bedford Mass. Some stayed in the USA (Framingham Mass New York State) and some returned to NB Canada later on. Two other siblings were left with a relative in NB. They never went to the USA.....Marie Sarah Bourque b 1902 (m Fred Bourque)and Marie Elmire b 1905(my mother).
I am most anxious to trace the American families that descended from Aimee Robichaud and Marie Leblanc of New Brunswick Canada.
