Pam there are so many Joseph Babineaux's, I have some records showing different Joseph's Babineaux's, but not the one you're looking for, but I'll keep looking, because we're all famliy. My Great Grandfather is Telisphore Babineaux, he came to Louisiana from France, he was white, and my Great Grandmother was Agatha Babineaux, African descent. Some how the military said my Grandfather's name was too long so it was changed to Bobino when he went into the service. I'll keep my eyes openand if I find anything, I'll e-mail you.
