Russ - There are no civil parishes in Co Cavan with the names you mention. Two civil parishes in Co Cavan with names that are like your two names are: Ballymachugh and Crosserlough. My Babington's are from Magheracloone in Co Monaghan, which is right on the border with Co Cavan. I have done research in Ireland and have Babington cousins in Ireland I have visited. Because Babington is not a big name and Ireland and because our Babington's are close in Ireland we are likely related some how. Hope I can help further perhaps. I suggest you look up the two names you have mentioned in the Irish townland web site. They may be townlands. I will check on this too.
