I, too, would like to know where Mary Babington was born and who her parents were. She married James Smith Garoutte on 27 Feb 1809 in Tuckahoe, Cape May Co., NJ. The Garoutte's lived in Burlington Co. near Pleasant Mills (Atlantic Co.) and Batsto.

I suspect Mary Babington may have been born in New Jersey. Would be interested in hearing from other Babington researchers.
