Vickie, It is almost a year and a half since your post but I stumbled on this site just today (1-8-02). John Kenneth Babington, see original post, is my brother. I am holding, as I type, a faded but readable genealogical document prepared by my grandfather Robert Kenneth (my brother's namesake)Babington. He was a remarkable man, very proud to be a Babington, but equally proud of his mother's heritage (Biggerstaff and Baber). In fact, he did a lot of genealogical work on those two families as well, tracing Babers to James and Robert Baber living in Bedford County, Virginia, in 1762. You can email me at if you wish more information. God bless you and your family.
Best Regards, Tom
