I am also researching Babkas in Adelnau, Posen in the early 1800s--(My Catharina Babka or Babkin married Christian Piorka (Piorek) on 28 October 1810. I'm working my way through the microfilmed Adelnau parish registers now, looking for Catharina's birth and christening. I can look for your Johanna as well, if you'd like. -Jenny Stephenson
