Baccaro Information

I have been quite interested in the postings on this message board. My grandfather moved to Connecticut in the early 1900's. He immigrated from a small town in Italy. The town's name is Cistonino{spelling?}. The town is not too far from Bari. My grandfather and several of his relatives came here to work in the brickyards. His father as well as other relatives returned to Italy each winter when the brickyards were closed. My grandfather remained in America, with the exception of returning to Italy to fight in World War I. My grandfather's name was Joseph. His father's name was Victor. My grandfather had a brother named John who served in the American Army during World WarI. I hope some of this information is helpful. I look forward to reading more postings. There are quite a few Baccaros still living here in Connecticut.
