The Name Baccaro:

Baccaro is a name that comes from the region of Abruzzi. If you ever have the chance to go to this region you will see Baccaro's everywhere. Mr father, Anthony P. Baccaro, grew up in a small town called Roccamondolfi. This town is about twenty minutes from Campobasso. It truly is a beautiful region of Italia. It is surrounded by mountains yet is one of the few regions of Italy that is not surrounded by tourists. The people are extremely warm and friendly and the food is fantastic. In fact, one of the best cooking schools in the world is located in Abruzzi and Abrussese cooking is world famous. You should be extremely proud that your name is Baccaro! You, as well as I, come from a great region of Italia. Try to go there if you ever have the chance. No country in the world has the rich culture of Italy!

Anthony A. Baccaro
