Sorry about the run around. Seems our Thomas's may not be the same after all. The only way is if yours moved to Devon/Somerset at a young age around the early 1800's.
My ancestors changed thier name when they reached Australia.As follows> Thomas Badcock 1790?>Henry Badcock 1844>John Ernest Badcock 1869>Henry Ernest 1915.
