Nora,

This is what I suspect, too, that the Baggeleigh spelling from the Norman invasion reference relates somehow to our Badgley ancestors and history.

Can't tell yet if I am responding to a new or old posting. I've been doing so much research lately, including Revolutionary war all the way back to Norman invasion. Please bear with me.

And please give me the source of the Norman invasion reference, if I understood you correctly.
