Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
My line of Badeaus (French Huguenots)- also started with Pierre Badeau who married Marie Triau. Son Elie Badeau married Claude Fume, they emigrated to New Rochelle, NY and the Badeau farm was adjacent to Parcot farm which is now Highland Park NY. Son John (Jean)Badeau married Madelaine Parcot and had 5 children. Their son Peter 1 married Catharine Coutant and they had 9 children, Peter 11, Isaac 1, John 1, Elias 11, Jacob, Catherine, James 1, Magdalen, and William who was born Sep. 15, 1767 died August 17, 1860. This is the only information I have on William Badeau because my direct line is with John 11.
I am interested in sharing info if you think we may be related! My family line stayed in NY until my grandfather Walter, who worked on the railroad finally settled in PA.
