Magdelaine Badeau's husband Lt. James Secord was the son of Catherine Mabie. I am also trying to identify the parents of my ancestor Abraham Mabee/Mabie (d. after 9 Mar 1798) of Yorktown, NY. I suspect he was a relative of Catherine and her son James Secord, but I can not match him to the seven known Abrahams in the Mabie/Maybee/Mabee family who were living in the region around the time of the American Revolution. I have heard there was a bastard Abraham Mabie who was a carpenter, but I have not located any documentation on him, either. The information on my Mabie brick wall is at:

Do you have any information on Magdelaine Badeau's Mabie cousins-in-law that might help my search?
