Madelaine Badeau was born in New Rochelle, NY in either 1736 or 1739
She married James Secord about 1755 and had children: Solomon, Stephen, David, Simon, John, Esther, Madelaine, Mary, James.
She is said to be the daughter of Elias Badeau and his wife, Mariam, however Elias was born in 1741.
Is she the daughter of John H Badeau (1699-1787) and Madelaine Parcot (1704-1757) ?
Or is she a descendant of John's brother, baptised Elie in the French Church in New York, NY 6 Nov 1698 assuming Elie lived to adulthood.
As far as I know Eli Badeau and Claude Fume only had those 2 sons, Elie and John.
Does anyone know if one of them is the father of my Madelaine Badeau ?
