Hi William,
Unfortunately, we don't appear to be related, but I will give you the information I believe I have found out about your family. This information was retrieved from Ancestry.com.Your William Badger appears on the 1910, 1920 and 1930 census and it states he was born in Penn about 1909.His father was Henry L. Badger (I believe the L. stands for Llewellyn, hence the Lou Badger) and his mother was Catherine (or Katherine) Badger. In the 1920 census her father (William Richard) is living with the family. The 1930 census lists William's siblings as Doris M. b. 1917 and Henry L. b. 1919 and they are living in Cleveland, Ohio.William is listed in the 1900 census living with his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Badger. Both your grandparents (Henry and Catherine) and your g grandparents (Joseph and Elizabeth) were born in Wales. The 1900 census states that Joseph and Elizabeth have been in this country since 1895 and they have 4 children Catherine b. Apr 1881, Llewellyn b Nov 1882 (who I assume is your grandfather), Sarah b. Aug 1885, and Brinley b. March 1892.It also states she had 6 children, 4 living, so two children must have died. There is also a California death listing for your grandfather which gives his mother's maiden name as Evans. One more bit of information is a record of boarder crossing for William Joseph Badger in 1941, which gives his date of birth as December 8, 1909.I suggest that you consider joining Ancestry.com since there is alot of information about this family in the census records and it appears they might have traveled back and forth to Europe.I hope this helps you.
