It is possible but I don't know for sure. All I can tell you is that he was married to Mary E. Sharp on Jan. 28, 1854 in Lewis county, VA. He was 28 at the time and could have possibly been married before. I don't think he would've gotten married at 16 though (which is how old he would've been in 1842). It was common for women to marry at that young of an age but not men. It is interesting that one of Thomas & Mary's daughters was named Minerva though. She was born in 1859. I will keep you in mind should I find anything to link the two. Please do the same for me.
