Searching for Ann Bagnall, c 1820s, Shropshire.

Not sure whether this is remotely relevant. I am searching for my great-great grandmother, Ann Bagnall. Could she be related to your Sarah, I wonder. Ann embroidered a sampler when she was 12, stating that she lived in Captiveness. We didn't realize, for ages, that this is a village in Shropshire. Anyway, she married a man named Jones and Sarah Jones was my great-grandmother. Sarah was married some time about 1870 - so dating back, we get to a birthdate around 1820s for Ann Bagnall. When Sarah married, she was called 'the prettiest bride in Southport' - so they had moved to Lancashire. Sarah married Frederick Richardson, a bookbinder of Rochdale. They had 6 childre, of whom 2 survived, one being my grandmother (RIP 1966).
