Hello,

I.m trying to follow up my paternal grandfather Arthur John Bagnall. Born in East London on 15th February 1883, served in Egypt, & Middle east particularly The Holy land during the first world war in the Royal Engineers, Field Survey Coy.
He was demobilised in 1919 and returned to Barking Essex to live with his family, but was tragically killed by a motor bus on 19th August 1919 only six months after demob.
I have in my posession a letter from a Geo T. Bagnall dated Jan 2nd 19 from 32 Argyle Rd West Ealing London. could there be a connection with your George?? A brother perhaps, three years older.

I look forward to hearing from you

Sincerely

Michael Bagnall
