Edward Bagnall born 1788/9 Staffs UK
Posted by: Roger Brian (ID *****8155) Date: July 26, 2002 at 13:31:47

Edward was a basket maker and grocer in Longton/Lane End Staffs. He died on 15th April 1844 age 65 and was buried at St James Church Longton. He married Elizabeth (?Harding) some time/place not definitely found (?Newcastle uL 1804) and she died 1843.

They had kids Charles bp 1805, Stephen bp 1807, Catherine b 1812/3,Jane b 1815/6, Anne b1819/20, Harriet b 1820-23.

Age indicates Edward was born 1778/9. There are two baptismal fits in Staffs:-

Phillip Bagnall/Mary 20/Dec/1778 Uttoxeter
Thomas Bagnall/Ann 3/May/1778 Church Eaton

Problem. Which one? Who has got an Edward in their tree or does anyone know what happened to either of these two?

Roger Brian
