This ended up a deadend for my Rebeckah Martin. My Rebeckah was b. 1780 or so, and m. George Davis. They lived in old Franklin Co. GA (Oconee SC) and later Hall, Fayette and Walker Cos. He was a miller. We think she was part Cherokee. We have their children as: John A. Davis, Charity Davis, Martin Davis, Henry Davis and J.R. Davis. There are three unknown daughters and an unknown son. I believe your Rebecca Martin can be found in censuses in the Charleston area. I did a lot of research on this family for a while to make sure it was not mine. Sandy
