THOMAS BAGNALL, Leics, mid C18th

There are just too many Thomas Bagnalls, and all publicans as well! Mine was a house painter and inn keeper at Ashby de la Zouch in the mid 19th century. But, he was baptised at Castle Donington in 1815, parents Samuel & Mary. Samuel was also a house painter.

I have recently got Thomas' will [1887] which includes mention of "the old sword belonging to my late father" as well as a number of oil paintings of family members. His wife was an Ann LEAWOOD - only have never managed to find a record of the marriage. [They had many children several of whom never married]. Also am unable to identify any other children of Samuel and Mary - there are no other Bagnall baptisms at Castle Donington, nor any Leawoods. Does anyone know this family?
