I would be very interested in the biographical sketches of these people. I do know a little about them and would be interested in any pictures you have. I do have a couple of my own of Joseph and Sarah Phillips I would be also willing to share. I also have visited there tombstones and took pictures there in Wanship. I descend through Joseph Phillips, second son of Hannah and William Phillips. I am Joseph Phillips great-great granddaughter with his wife Sarah Lovisa Roundy. I have located Hannah's christening record in Brierly Hill parish in England and it states she is the daughter of John Bagnall and Uriah Bache, although all LDS membership records in the U.S. show her name as Mariah Beech. (Note: Family history passed down through my family stated her name was Mariah Beech or Bache). There is a Uriah Bache also christened in Brierly Hill parish in 1787, (male or female gender not given on christening record, child of Thomas Bache and Hannah Baker of Rowley Regis Parish, England. The extracted record of the chirstening of Uriah in the IGI shows male, but I looked at original records and no gender was given. Rowley Regis is about 3 miles from Brierly Hill) which is the perfect age for the Uriah who married John Bagnall. I just wish we could locate a marriage record of John and Uriah. Any leads there? I have learned about all I can as I have been to the SLC Library three times researching Hannah Bagnall and her husband William Phillips. And not much is known about either one of them. I have looked at all LDS membership records to the best of my ability and turned up no further leads. Is your book available for purchase? I do not know much about the Detton children other than names, although supposedly John left Hannah when she joined the Mormon church. Would love to share information with you if possible as maybe with both of our information new leads may form? Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
