Leonard Eustice Bagnall 1895 Virginia

I'm looking for any information or direction to information that I can find on my GreatGrandfather, Leonard Eustice Bagnell (or Bagnall as his grave marker indicates), reportedly born in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia on 4 Aug 1895, and died on 12 Jun 1923. Family stories indicate that Leonard was a merchant ship's officer.

His marriage to Mary Eleanor Brittain in 1916 is recorded in Pasquotank County, NC.

Both Leonard and Mary reportedly died of Tuberculosis (him in 1923 and her in 1925) leaving my Grandmother, Elizabeth Wilson Bagnell, her siter, Dorothy G. Bagnell, and their brother, Leonard Eustice Bagnell, Jr., as orphans in the care of Leonard's mother, and my GG Grandmother, Fannie Elizabeth (Warriner) Bagnell. I don't have any information on where they died or if, in fact, their untimely deaths were cause by TB. Leonard is buried in Forest Lawn in Norfolk, VA, with the spelling of the surname "Bagnall" rather than with the "e" that appears on subsequent generations' markers. I'm unable to locate where Mary died (not sure if she might have been referred to a "sanitarium" or not) or the location of her grave.

Any info that might help is welcome at my e-mail address.
