Re Susannah Bagnall.
Susie is described as an infant in the firts LDS register and birth year given as 1853. They sailed in late March 1853.

She could have been born on the voyage, although she is mentioned as if already born when they left.
She could have been born in Liverpool - I dont know how long they would have been there awaiting departure. Or she could have been born in London. There is a Susannah Sarah Bagnell (a common misspelling) born in 3rd quarter of 1852 in Stepney which could be her. I have not sent for the certificate as she is not my direct line.

These Bagnalls were in London in early 19th century, others remained (my hubby is descended from Charles Bagnall, who may be Cornelius' brother; there is certainly a link).
Many other Bagnall's are in Staffordshire - where there is a village called Bagnall.
In 1851 Cornelius gives his birth place as Leicestershire but I can't find any record of any other Leicestershire Bagnall's. Our Charles gives his birthplace as Norfolk - again no records to back this. I wonder if the James Bagnall aged 70 in 1841 with Cornelius was their father, and if he was some sort of travelling preacher. My Bagnall's do not appear to have gone the religious route at all.

I keep looking but no new records yet!
Good luck
