Seeking information about Squire W. Bailey and his wife Roxana Rarrick Bailey. He was born about 1818 in New Jersey, and she was born in 1820 in either Dutchess or Steuben County New York. In the mid-1800's they did live in Steuben County New York, mainly in the Bradford and South Bradford, NY area. Squire W. Bailey appears in the Steuben County Gazetteer of 1858-59 in South Bradford, NY. Roxana or Roxy was the daughter of Garret Rarrick and Martha Jacoby. I recently visited Bailey Road, just south of South Bradford, New York where they lived in the mid-1800s. There's an old house there, but I'm doubtful it was there's. It's just an old dead-end dirt road that ends in the woods of Corbett Hollow.
