Matilda Green Bailey, 1819-1851, m. Judge Warner Bailey

Matilda Green Bailey was a daughter of John and Nancy Betts Jones Green. She was born in Burnt Corn, Alabama, and is buried in the Green family cemetery there. She married Warner Bailey, who was a judge in Monroeville, AL. He was born around 1811, I believe.

The John Green Cemetery Preservation Association has recently had a ground-penetrating-radar study of the cemetery done, and there is no grave where her marker is. There are three unmarked graves in the cemetery, and we believe one of them belongs to Matilda. We would like to correctly identify her grave so we can place the marker where it belongs.

I would like to correspond with anyone in this Green/Bailey line.
