STERLING L. BAILEY
APRIL 25, 1913
On Friday (Apr.18) afternoon at about three o'clock, Sterling L. Bailey passed away at the family home in this city, death being the result of pneumonia and articular rhuematism, following an illness of short duration.
Sterling Louis Bailey was born in LaSalle county, august 31, 1879, being the youngest son of William and Margaret Bailey. The family came to Chatsworth in 1896 and he made his home here since that time. He is survived by his aged father, two brothers and one sister, as follows: Eli, of Dallas, Tex., George of this city, and Mrs. Otis Cady, also of this city. The mother passed away about a year ago.
The funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Chatsworth Baptist church, Rev. J.Harvey Gunn officiating, and the remains were interred in the Chatsworth cemetery.
