Charles Bainbridge ( born Hull 1801? ) info needed

I am desperate to find the vital link as to whether Charles Bainbridge in my tree was born in Hull in 1801.
In 1841 he was living with wife Ann in York and was a servant, but seems to have ' disappeared ' from York by 1851 , although his name appears on his daughters ( Janes ) marriage certificate in 1854 and the address is Coppergate , with his occupation given as a groom.
Maybe a possible connection with his work to Castle Howard , so wondered if he moved to Malton area etc ? Could someone check on the 1851 census for that area please ?? He died in 1860 I believe so the 1861 census bears no fruit !
There may have been children living with him at the time- maybe another Charles aged 16, and Mary aged 12.
PLEASE HELP !
