Hi,
My name is Deborah Flores (Baisden). I am looking for families that belong to Harrison Baisden my Step-Great grandfather who married my great grandmotheerNettie Wooldridge; b-1883 in Ok They lived in AR till Harrison died abt 1910. Then Nettie move to WVA. In 1920 she was living with my great grandfather William Evans in McDowell Co
WVA. Harrison and Nettie had three children that I know of:
1. Marion Thomas Baisden m Dorothy Flagg they had one child Curtis Lee Baisden who was raised by is maternal Aunt Jane Austin Dare in Michigan. Marion died in the 1940’s in Columbus OH.
2. Bobbie Baisden 1st married Taylor Hatfield then divorced and married? Treadway. She died in AZ in 1980’s
3. William P Baisden had supposable 8 wives one was name Victoria. William had a daughter name Glenna married?
4. Nettie had another child named Johnnie White died in the 1950’s in Williamson WVA He married Rema?
Nettie and William Evans had two children that I now of:
Henry Evans b-1917 d1960 in Huntington WVA m Hazel Marie Flagg (my Grandparents)
Theodosia Evans b abt 1920 in McDowell Co WVA may have married a Jack or Arthur Kemp and lived in Florida
Henry and Theodosia picked up the Baisden last name because they did not like their father.
William spent time in Moundsville prison for killing his nephew right outside of Charleston do not know the dates after 1938 and before 1960. My father said that William attended is son Henry Evans Baisden funeral in Huntington WVA in 1960 in prison clothes.
If you have any info on this family would please let me know as I currently live in Texas and it is hard to gain information. I have tired the Internet without any success. So I am writing people with the same last name in hope of finding a family member or some who new the family.
