John Randolph Baisden/CSA marker/Randolph Co. Ga.

I really would like information on John Randolph Baisden. His CSA marker gives the following info.

56 ALA.
SEPT. 14, 1833
SEPT. 7, 1883

Prospect Methodist Church is no longer active but the cemetery where John Baisden is buried is well kept. It has easy access, right by the paved road. This cemetery is located south of Shellman, Ga., Randolph County 6 or 7 miles.
I'm working on a book of Randolph Co. Ga. CSA veterans and would like very much to have some info on John. I did find on the internet a cemetery listing in Alabama , Rose Hill Cemetery, Covington County, that listed 2 sons & a wife, Lavonia.
Lavonioa is listed as the "wife of John R. Baisden." There is no grave listed for John. Is this the man that is buried in Randolph County Ga.?
I would like info on the 56th Al. Partisan Rangers. Does anyone have a copy of his compiled service records?
Any help would be appreciated.
