According to my files, Henry Clay Baldy was the son of William Baldy and Harriet Clark. William's parents were Christian Baldy and Mary Tomlinson. This family was very mobile. Originally from Pennsylvania, they spent time in Michigan, Illinois, and Iowa. The Baldy-Clark marriage took place in Tama County, Iowa. There are other details. I'll be happy to swap more data, give you my sources, etc. I would also like to know your lineage.
