Hello, Tim,

I just came across your posting here regarding the Baldy/Rossa families from the Schlesian/Silesia area of Prussia/Poland.

My great-grandfather and grandfather emigrated to the U.S. from near the town of Steinersdorf/Siemyslow, southwest of Namslau/Namyslow in September 1877. We are not certain, but it is possible that the family name was changed to Rosha from Rossa after arriving here in the United States.

My grandfather's name was Frank, born on September 10th, 1872, in Steinersdorf. My great-grandfather's name was Carl, and he was born on November 7th, 1838, but I do not know where, presumably from near Steinersdorf.

I hope to hear from you.

Ken Rosha
