Samuel Bale Norwich 1950s

Perhaps someone could help me trace a Bale family for which I have one location dating back to the mid 1950s.

First the background: sometime about 1910-1920 a Mr Bale(first name unknown to me) was posted to the then British Army Barracks in Athlone, County Westmeath, Ireland. What rank this man had is not known to me. While there he met and married a Nora(otherwise Hanoria) Burke from Roscommon town about twenty miles north west of Athlone. Nora Burke had been born probably before 1880 in the townland of Tully, near Ballygar county Galway but the family moved to Roscommon sometime between 1882 and 1900. Nora Burke was a sister to my maternal grandmother Ellen Burke hence my interest.
Mr Bale and Nora Burke returned to England most likely befor 1921 when the British forces left Athlone, but I feel they may have left some years prior to 1921. They had three children Samuel, Robert and Mary Ellen. From what I know they would have been born about 1920 or before but probably not before 1915. Samuel visited my grandmother, his aunt, about 1954 (I was born 1955) and that was the last contact. As far as I know he was a solicitor by profession and the last address I have for him was at Norwich, Norfolk living in a street called Acclum or Acclun St.
Samuel was married when he visited Ireland but did not have children at that time. He left a wedding photograph to my grandmother now in my mother's possession. The other siblings Robert and Mary Ellen were also married as far as I know.
Mr Bale was a non Catholic when he married Nora Burke and this fact limited family contact for many years. I have failed to locate any record of a marriage of Mr Bale to Nora Burke in Ireland so I assume they may have married in England.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

William Gacquin
