Can't help you as far back as 1600, however I do know that there are Bales living in Leics today !
My father (John Edward) family lived in Sherard Road Lecester until this was demolished and then moved to Loughborogh in late 1950's
My father moved to Hampshire, where I live today.

My Uncle George still lives in Loughborogh believe ancestry may be related to Sir George Bale big land owner in the area circa 1600 ?
