I have a Kickapoo 1893 Indian Almanac from the Kickapoo Medicine Co. in New Haven, CT with the name Will G. Bale Printed on the back. He was a purveyor of drugs, medicines and chemicals; toilet articles & fancy soaps.
My William B. Hopkins 1865 IA - 1935 KY was also a druggist and his sister Hattie Louise Hopkins Haddox 1868-1955 of Webster City kept the almanac in a scrapbook. She was a nurse who visited her patients on horseback.
Their parents were William Henry Hopkins b1838 Springville, Erie Co., NY & Kate Moore b1845 Schenectady, NY & lived in Luzerne, Warren Co., NY with her parents George & Adelia Horton Moore. Still looking for the parents of William Henry Hopkins b@ 1800 NY state.
I think the initial B. in William B. Hopkins stands for the maiden name of his German mother so looking for any Hopkins & German surname connections.
