Yes. He was the second husband of Mary Frazee Thompson Bale, d/o my husband's grand-parents, Dudley and Nancy (DeVaughn) Frazee.

From what I have heard, Dr. Bale was very robust, and had a special interest in good diet and lots of exercise. My husband said the move to Denver was supposedly based on his seeking a healthier climate for his wife, who was more delicate. The irony was
that Dr. Bale's delicate wife survived him by many years.
Mrs. Bale had two children by her first marr. Her daughter lived in Denver, but her son Merch Thompson worked for the rr in WV

If you happen upon any pictures of the Bale's dog, I'd love to know what he looked like too. It was said that he was trained to carry notes back and forth between Dr. Bale's office and home.
