John Michael/Morgan Gray(1826)TN. married Mary Ann Ball (1830)in Platte Co. Mo. on Dec 3, 1848 per Platte records.
John's father is James Gray & Lamond/Lammonds mother.
John Gray d. 1861, Platte records show widow Mary A administered bond $500.00. I tried to get copies of that record, but it was not found in the file. I do have copy of John's father James Gray's probate records.
Mary Ann Balls father could be Singleton Ball, who m. Lucinda Timberlake. The marriage is listing her name as Timberlick, I find little on him. What happened to Singleton? I located land records for a Lucinda Ball, St Charles MO., is this the wife of Singleton?
John & Mary Ann Gray are in 1860 Monegaw, ST. Clair MO. census.
Lucinda 1850(my ggrandmother) m. 1st to AJ Moody 2. Alexander Fowler, my ggrandfather.
Mary 1851
Margaret 1855
James A 1864
John W 1859.
Mary & Margaret have moved to Walla Walla WA. sometime after that census. Mary is married 1869 to Hughes Rober Taylor Benton Co. WA
Margaret m 1872 to Charles Clark Walla Walla WA.
Why did they move to WA? Some family residing there?
Unable to locate the 2 males James A. & John W. in that 1860 census. I found a JA Gray who married Sophronia....still working on that one.
Father John Gray d. 1861, what happened to mother Mary Ann?
Appreciative of any clues for research.
