Ball-Hornsby Connection Fauquier, Va
Posted by: Alice Jones (ID *****9234) Date: August 26, 2012 at 17:43:07

I am trying to find a connection between the Ball and Hornsby family in Fauquier, Va. in the early to mid 1700's My brother's Ball DNA showed a close match to Leonard Hornsby b 1699 in Lincolnshire England. I know this man is connected through a maternal line but can't understand this connection. Maybe a Ball adopted a Hornsby male?? My Ball line begins with a William Ball b abt 1791 Va being in TN in 1825-1840 Mation Co. Al in 1840 and 1850 census and then my g grandfather James H. Ball in Tuscaloosa Co., Al in 1857. Any information will be appreciated
