Hi Roger, All I know is from Three Centuries of Ballingers in America. Page 407 under the heading Ballinger - Maryland you find Francis Ballinger, wife Judith in Prince Georges County Queen Anne's Church having four children;
1. Elizabeth b Jue 2, 1701
2. John b April 191703
3. William b April 16 1705
4. Richard b May 24 1706.

Wiliam is shown with wife Martha having seven children including Benjamin b 1761 married to Elizabeth Lester.

Page 427 under Pittsylvania County shows in 1821 will of Jophn Balinger wife Lythia and also names Luthia Hines (relatioship not given.

I htink my Ballenger go back to Francis and Judith but don't have them connected. Good luck. Bruce
