If anyone has any information on the following, please let me know.

From what I have seen:
John Ballenger b. VA abt. 1750 had the following sons (there were other children)

1. William who married Mary Redwine had son John b. 1810 Elbert Co., Ga.

2. John Jr. who married Elizabeth Stephenson. This family is in Cobb Co. census in 1850 & 1860. Had children:
Moore S. (who is buried in Cobb Co., Ga.)
Martha H. who married Joel Green
Tarpley
Rebecca
David
Mary
Emeline
Elizabeth
John F.
Aminda
Albert

3. David (1783-1835)who married Rebecca Stephenson (I believe sister to Elizabeth Stephenson)

I am trying to find out the names of David's children.

In a letter to W Tilly (living in Dekalb Co., Ga.) from B R Ballenger (living in Cobb Co., Ga.) the following Ballengers are mentioned: Martha Ballenger b. 9/1/1816, William Ballenger b. 4/25/1812, John F. Ballenger b. 3/1/1819. Martha Ballenger married Ebenezer Tilly and was the mother of W Tilly mentioned above. Martha's brother William Ballenger married Adeline Tilly, sister of Ebenezer.

In 1860 Dekalb Co. census, there is a household with John F. Ballenger 40, wife Julia A. 32, Elmira M. 6, Rebecca Ballenger 65, and B R Ballenger 34.
