Bruce, I have sent you several messages but am wondering if they got through. I talked with you several years ago but stayed away from genealogy after the deaths of both my parents. I am back at it now and would like a copy of the Ballenger book you referenced in our discussions and would like to send you the proofs of a correction needed on the middle initial of my gggrandfather, Thomas 'V.' Smith who married Martha J. Ballenger. I have their marriage record, record of his marriage to her sister Elizabeth after Martha's death and his Civil War records. I will be happy to send you a copy of these records and I hope that the book is still available. Thank you for your time, Jan Mathis Hale
