Hi Fran, Hope all is well.
Yes, John and Rhapsony would be my ggg-grandparents. John>William>James>William F>Willaim S>and me. I still cannot find any link to a Henry of any sort. Beginning to think that maybe Henry was a middle name. Still don't know who John and Catherine were either. They are on the 1850 census with a William who is about 27 and a William and Charles ages 4 and 5. Maybe the older William is the father of the two younger ones and John is the father of William. Look at the next census and William and Charles are living with Eliza Mary Baltzell (Henderson), but no husband listed. I believe the William of John and Catherine is William R Baltzell who married Eliza Mary Baltzell because in 1860 she was only 25 years old and Charles and William who are listed on the census are 14 and 15. Some of them might even be the offspring of the William who was married 4 times and rumoured to have had 24 kids. Anyway, I am still trying to figure out who John T Baltzell's father was. If anyone who reads this has any kind of a clue, please reply to this posting or email me at baltzells@earthlink.net
Thank you,
Tony
