Thank you, James. I'll look for the "Brown-Baltzell" book that you mention.

My goal is to prove the ancestry of Robert Fulton who lived on land adjacent to Charles Springer and Peter Hedges in Monocacy Manor, Frederick Co, MD, as early as 1760.

From what you've shared, it appears that the Baltzell family came to America several years after 1760 so it seems reasonable that the marriages between the Fulton and Baltzell children in 1794 are probably the result of social interaction at the Evangelical Lutheran Church at Woodsboro rather than kinship ties.
