Banfield in Argentina

My name is Mariano Rodriguez but I could be called Mariano Banfield becouse I love that surename...
I live in London but I was born in Argentina in a Town called Banfield. I am searching for the ancestors of my towns name and I found this site with you inside so I thought you could help me finding "my family".
Like you guys have posted here, the town (situated in the outskirt of Buenos Aires city) is called Banfield becouse the Enginneer Edward Banfield, who was the chief of the railway at the beggining of the XX century.
We also have an important team in the Argentinian Premier League called (off course) Banfield and the colours of the team and the town are green and white. you can find a complete website about our beloved Club Atletico Banfield (CAB) at ("soy de banfield" mean "I am from Banfield")

Like I said I would like to meet some Banfields who have blood relationship with Edward or with Banfield town or Argentina at all...

Thank you, and I am very happy to be writting to you

Dale Banfield dale! (go Banfield go!)
