Hi Allan,

Just answered your message regarding Uny Lelant etc. and then spotted this list.

Have you any information on the Frank Banfield Park in London ? I had a Frank Banfield bn. 1852 d. 1914 in London. He worked in Fleet Street as a leader writer and reviewer. He worked for, during his life, London Globe, Yorkshire Post, Birmingham Daily Gazzette and also wrote some minor works and had published. His obituary paints quite a glowing picture of him so he seemed quite well known, at the time, in litarary circles.

Any info would help.

Regards,

Roger Banfield (Scilly)
