Hi Stacy

I am unable to help you with information about Elsie, but we may have a link through her parents.

Do you have any more information on Elsie Banfield's father, James Thomas Banfield?

I have a James Banfield b about 1856 in Uny Lelant, Cornwall, England in my tree. I do not have his second name, but Thomas is a common name in our family.

James came from a family of tin miners in Cornwall. There is a possibility that he continued this trade in his own life, but we do not know.

We also know that he emigrated from England to either the USA or Australia about 1876 to 1880.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
