You need search no further. I am a distant relative of yours living in St. Michael, Barbados. Your grandfather Gilbert Banfield and my great-grandmother Millicent Banfield were brother and sister of the full blood. Millicent lived to the ripe old age of 101 years, as did her neice Lottie Straker Clendenin, whom I believe that you might have known. Lottie's side of the family settled in New York and Florida, while your side went to Maryland. Reginald worked in Panama before emigrating to America. If my memory serves me correctly, your father was a doctor. My aunt met him on a visit to the U.S.A several years ago.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
