Regarding your interest in a "Banker Book," you might try to locate "Bancker or Banker Families of America" compiled by Howard James Banker and printed by the Tuttle Company of Rutland, VT in 1909. It focuses primarily on the descendants of Laurens Mattyse Bancker who emigrated from Holland about 1673 and settled initially in New Amsterdam, and later, Phillipsburg, New York. There is additional information in the book, however, about Gerrit Bancker and his descendants.

Although I live now in Arizona, I grew up and spent most of my life in the lower Hudson River Valley. One of my great grandmothers was Catherine Banker of Hyde Park, NY, a direct descendant of Laurens Mattyse Bancker.

I located the above book in the Sutro Branch of the California State Library. I was able to obtain it on loan through my local library, although I have heard that it is no longer available for inter-library loan.
