Regarding your comment that you thought I said Laurens Bancker and Gerrit Banker were related. I have no information that they were related. You may have misinterpreted my earlier comment. I said the "Banker Book" discusses both lineages, but it does not establish a relationship. I said: "it focuses primarily on the descendants of Laurens Mattyse Bancker who emigrated from Holland about 1673 and settled initially in New Amsterdam, and later, Phillipsburg, New York. There is additional information in the book, however, about Gerrit Bancker and his descendants."
