HI, I have an 1862 pocket bible signed "S.J. Banker, Company D 21st Pennsylvania Cavalry" and on the next page it is signed "From sister Maria, August 1, 1863, Remember thy creator in the days of your youth." I've checked the roster and found that Jacob Banker mustered in from Franklin County in 1863 and out in 1864. Other than that I've found no more information. Could somebody out there give me any more information? I've tried different searches but they usually lead to and I'm not ready to subscribe. Thanks for your time.
