Ryan

I have a bunch of info on this man:

Samuel Jacob Banker, born 2 Dec 1842 in Chambersburg, Pa, a son of Andrew & Elizabeth (Unknown) Banker/Bankert. Served in Co D, 21st Cavalry and discharged on 3 Feb 1864. Married Mary E Kuhn in Chambersburg 26 Apr 1867. Seven children. Moved from Pa to Fort Leavenworth, KS Feb 1872, where he was employed in the Commissary Department until Apr 1884, when he moved to a farm in Marion Co, KS. In Mar 1905, he moved to Kingfisher Co, OK, where he died 26 Mar 1919. Another sister, Mrs Sarah Hause, lived with him at the time of his death.

Are you related to Samuel Jacob Banker?

One question? Any possibility of getting a copy of the pages of the pocket bible with Jacob's and his sister's inscriptions? I'd love to have a copy for my records.

Jan Bankert
